Signed Off Switched On.
Announcing a sizzling summer blockbuster series...for founders only ;-).
Hello founders,
Welcome to Signed Off Switched On — a tongue-in-cheek title for a dead-serious mission.
This is your invitation to join me on a journey I wasn’t sure I’d ever share publicly.
Over the next few months, I’ll be serialising my book The Female Founder Formula — part memoir, part roadmap, all truth — for those of us building impactful businesses while juggling life, family, pressure, and (let’s be honest) our own mental bandwidth.
I know summer isn’t always the easiest time to stay focused.
For many of us — especially founders with families — things might feel a bit slower (or just harder!) right now work-wise. The kids are off school, routines are out the window, travel is (hopefully) happening… and work might not be running at full pelt.
That’s exactly why this series exists.
Think of SOSO as your weekly dose of connection, clarity, and founder fuel — a chance to stay anchored to your purpose and quietly level-up while everything else is in flux.
No pressure. Just power.
So what is The Female Founder Formula?
It’s a book I wish I had while I was creating, building, scaling + exiting my businesses — and for the 99.5% still in the thick of it.
It’s built around seven Purpose Principles that helped me build, grow and exit a DEI tech platform — all while raising three kids, working across continents, and trying not to lose myself in the process.
These aren’t just nice-sounding concepts — they’re survival tools for the road less travelled:
Commitment
Collaboration
Knowledge
Authenticity
Persistence
Empathy
Vision
✨ What’s coming next...
We open with a story of frustration, fury — and fire.
“I was in a photography class, trying to remember what a laptop even looked like. One woman introduced herself by saying, ‘Hi, I’m just a mum.’
But she wasn’t just anything.
She’d run a bank. She’d run marathons.
And now she was invisible — overlooked, unrecognised, erased.”
That moment lit a fuse in me — not just as a woman, but as a mother, a leader, and someone who knew something had to change.
That day in Dubai was the beginning.
And I couldn’t not do something about it.
We’ll dive into that next issue — Chapter One: Commitment, where I’ll show you the exact questions, frameworks, and mindset I used to build a business that was born from fury and fuelled by purpose.
💬 What to Expect
Every two weeks, you’ll get:
A personal story from my founder journey (no filter)
A clear takeaway or tool you can actually use
A few “we reflected on…” prompts to help you get honest with yourself
A peek into the next principle or theme
Bonus tools and reflections may appear too — I’m unpredictable like that.
